Account suspension¶
What stops service on an account, and how to restore it.
Why service stops¶
The one cause that is routine, and the one you control, is an empty balance. Mango Inference is prepaid, so when the balance reaches zero there is nothing left to meter against and requests stop being served. This is not a penalty and there is nothing to appeal; top up and service resumes.
Beyond that, accounts are subject to Mango Inference's terms of service, and abuse or a failed payment can also cost you access. The specific triggers, notice periods, and appeal process are not published. If you need them in writing before committing to the platform, ask at support@mangoboost.io.
What it looks like from a client¶
Your requests start failing. The specific status code returned when an account
cannot be served is not documented, so do not branch on one: a client should
treat any persistent, non-429 client error across every model as "this
account cannot serve right now" and check the console rather than retrying. See
Reliability and error handling.
Sign-in to the console is separate from API service, so you can still read your balance and billing history when the API is refusing requests.
Restore service¶
- Sign in at https://inference.mangoboost.io and check Billing (https://inference.mangoboost.io/billing).
- If the balance is zero or negative, top it up. Retry a single request before redeploying anything.
- If the balance is healthy and requests still fail, it is not a billing
problem. Contact support@mangoboost.io or
Discord with your account, the time it started, and an
x-request-idfrom a failing request.
Turnaround for anything needing a human is not published. For a payment problem, assume it is not instant and top up before you are empty rather than after.
