Credits and balance

Your Mango Inference balance is the funds available to pay for usage. API usage draws it down; you top it up to keep serving.

Check your balance

Your balance is shown in the console. Sign in at https://inference.mangoboost.io and open Billing (https://inference.mangoboost.io/billing).

There is no API for reading the balance today: the only paths served under https://api.mangoboost.io/v1 are /v1/models, /v1/chat/completions, and /v1/messages. Logging the usage object from each response gets you consumption, though not the remaining balance. See Usage and cost breakdown.

Add credits

Top-ups are done in the console under Billing. Minimums, maximums, and whether automatic top-up is available are not published. If you need auto-top-up specifically, ask in Discord or at support@mangoboost.io rather than assuming it is there.

When you run out

A zero balance stops service: requests are rejected until you top up. Because there is no balance API to poll and no invoice to run into, the failure arrives as errors in production rather than as a warning.

Two things make that a non-event:

  • Check the balance on a schedule, not when something breaks. A calendar reminder is enough at low volume.
  • Track your own burn rate from the usage object your responses already return, so you know roughly how many days a top-up buys. See Usage and cost breakdown.
